Our team of volunteer project managers is the backbone of our organization, serving as pivotal connectors, activators, and accelerators in spreading love and hope, which are the guiding principles guiding our mission.

In their role, our team plays a significant part in advising the board on impactful matters, leveraging their expertise and insights to steer the direction of our initiatives and projects. Their dedication and strategic guidance are essential in shaping our endeavors towards achieving our collective goals.

Maria
I take immense pride in being a part of the Aliza Zara Legacy family. As a mother of two energetic souls. My connection with Aliza and her remarkable mother, the tigermom, spans many years. The bond between these two beautiful souls is profoundly pure, an eternal connection bridging this world to the heavens, infinite in its depth.
The moment I became a part of Aliza’s infinite circle holds a special place in my heart. My deepest wish has always been to assist those in need, to provide the most fundamental necessities. I found myself constantly questioning how I could help until one day, in His divine wisdom, the Almighty guided me to Aliza Zara Legacy. It was then that I spoke to Atia, offering my assistance and expressing the need for AZL in my life, a source of positive energy.
My journey began with the water well project, and during the sacred month of Ramadan, I initiated the “Feed the Needy” project and actively contributed to fundraising efforts for the construction of the first mosque.
This is my story, woven into the lives of these two incredible individuals, Aliza & Atia.

Aasi
I am honored to introduce myself as a dedicated member of Aliza Zara Legacy. My journey with this incredible organization began in 2018 when the Board entrusted me with the role of project manager, specifically overseeing our projects in Palestine.
Working closely with the people in Gaza has been a deeply fulfilling experience. Their resilience and spirit amid challenging circumstances have left an indelible mark on me. Each day, I witness the impact of our efforts in providing vital support to those facing hardships, and it fills me with a profound sense of purpose.
Being part of this noble cause not only humbles me but also serves as a constant reminder of the power of empathy and compassion. I am committed to contributing my utmost to ensure that
Aliza Zara Legacy continues to extend its reach and create positive change worldwide.
Together, let us strive to build a world where kindness and assistance know no boundaries, and where everyone, regardless of circumstance, is supported and uplifted.

Saleha
Ever since I was young, my lifelong aspiration has been to assist those in need, especially children.
I strongly believe that everyone faces their unique challenges and blessings, and within each hardship, there’s a hidden blessing waiting to be discovered.
My own past struggles have instilled in me a deep-rooted desire to extend help to others. My volunteer work at the Ronald McDonald House has been a deeply enriching experience for which I’m immensely grateful.
Aliza’s journey has profoundly touched my heart and spirit. At the beginning of 2022, I was privileged to receive an invitation to join the team at Aliza Zara Legacy. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly accepted.
My inaugural project – food bank and preparing meals for the homeless – during Ramadan 2022 in the Netherlands, was deeply fulfilling. Injecting my creative touch into projects invigorates me. Collaborating with Saadia, my fellow team member, we’ve orchestrated some truly inspiring initiatives in the Netherlands.
I eagerly anticipate crafting more impactful projects and continuing to assist those in need.
Bringing aid to others not only fulfills my soul but also brings immense happiness to me.
It’s an absolute delight to make a difference in someone’s life.

Saadia
Proudly, I’d like to introduce myself as a volunteer at Aliza Zara Legacy. I am Saadia, a proud mother of Sofiyaan and Malayka, and Tahir’s partner. Additionally, I work part-time as a teacher. My greatest strength lies in my passion for continuous growth and learning. I’m always seeking new experiences, eager to learn from others, and applying those lessons to become a better person. I’m grateful for the opportunity at Aliza Zara Legacy to pursue that. Together with Saleha, I’ve initiated projects in the Netherlands: Love and Hope in the Netherlands, a venture I am immensely proud of. My journey with Aliza Zara began years ago, and I’ve never looked back. It’s an incredible honor to be part of our amazing team. Thank you, Aliza Zara, for your trust.

Non-profit nature

It’s crucial to note that Aliza Zara Legacy is a non-profit organization. All revenues are directly used to support our mission and projects. We do not employ paid staff for our projects.
The board members nor the volunteers at Aliza Zara Legacy receive any compensation or honorarium. Our organization does not aim for profit maximization but rather aims to maximize social impact and improve lives.
