One of the basic necessities in life is food. Our farm project involves growing vitamin rich vegetables on a large scale for an entire community. This project is run by local dedicated organisations. So far, we have collaborated with an orphanage centre in Uganda, Kayunga district. The orphans help to grow nutritious vegetables like corn, tomatoes, cabbages, spinach, beans and cow peas. With your donation they can feed many mouths. But farming on a large scale is rather expensive; growing 1 acre of tomatoes for example costs about € 1,500. The orphans work on the field and also benefit from the vegetables themselves.
