The story of Musharaf

In 2017 a team member of Aliza Zara Legacy was approached in region Punjab of Pakistan by very emotional parents in an ambulance. They were heading towards Lahore Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital with their 13-year-old son Musharaf. This boy was diagnosed with a childhood cancer – Hodgkin Lymphoma stage 3. Our team member made a video message of his parents and took their phone number. Within a few days we received Musharaf’s medical file.

Musharaf’s case was discussed within our medical team. We contacted Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi in Pakistan and they were very positive about Musharaf’s treatment.

Musharaf received chemotherapy and radiation in 2017 and 2018 through Aliza Zara Legacy and in May 2019 he seemed clear of cancer.

Unfortunately, a few months later Musharaf had a relapse, this made us very sad. The cancer was growing fast, doctors were not much hopeful. Musharaf became an angel on October the 7th of 2019. To honor this brave warrior, Aliza Zara Legacy’s anonymous and generous legion member, Guardian Angel, donated a waterwall in Musharaf’s name.
